Viet Nam and Russia has recently signed an agreement, in which the two countries will continue cooperation in geological survey and oil and gas exploitation in Viet Nam’s continental shelf.
The agreement was inked between Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang and Russian Ambassador to Viet Nam Andrey G. Kovtun on December 27 in Ha Noi.
The singing of the document marks a new advancement in the traditional relationship between the two countries, said Ambassador Andrey G. Kovtun.
For his part, Minister Hoang said Viet Nam always creates favorable conditions for Russian businesses to expand investment in the country, particularly for oil and gas industry.
Over the past 30 years, Vietsovpetro joint venture was a key unit of PetroVietnam in oil and gas exploration./.
