The Lao Airlines on Thursday launched the first flight from Pakse- Savannakhet to Vietnam’s central city of Da Nang.

The Lao national carrier expects to operate three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, using ATR27 aircrafts.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committtee said the opening of the direct air route is a pratical event to celebrate 50th annivesrary of diplomatic ties between the two ASEAN members.
The air route will meet the travel demands of nearly seven thousand passengers including overseas Vietnamese and tourists from the Northeast region of Thailand./.
