At the meeting, Deputy Minister Dao Quang Thu informed the socio-economic development in the first 10 months of 2012 and socio-economic development plan in 2013 of Vietnam. Accordingly, the expected overall objectives are to curb inflation, strengthen macroeconomic stability and ensure social security.
As for foreign direct investment attraction, Vietnam would prioritize projects with modern technology, environmental friendliness, efficient use of resources, minerals, land; facilitating and strengthening links with local businesses, said Deputy Minister Dao Quang Thu.
Ms.Tanit Curry appreciated efforts and successes of Vietnam Government in the macro-economic stability, inflation curbing, exchange rate stability and reaction against the impact of the current financial crisis.
Deputy Minister Dao Quang Thu asserted that Vietnam is always ready to facilitate and support Morgan Stanley for long-term investment in Vietnam, especially the field of asset management, financial and credit services, investment banking. /.
