PM Nguyen Tan Dung asked for quick acceleration of the State-owned enterprises (SOEs) restructuring process and capital withdrawal from equitized enterprises.

The Government chief made the request on January 16 in Ha Noi while presiding over a conference with SOEs leaders.
“The withdrawal of State capital must be seriously carried out to avoid wrongdoings,” PM Dung stressed.
SOEs need to improve administration capacity, enhance transparency and timely provide information relating to their business performance.
PM Dung also tasked ministries and localities to focus on perfecting institutions and policies in favor of the SOEs restructuring process.
A number of SOEs are now designing restructuring plans under the Government’s project to overcome their own shortcomings and focus on main business lines, according to the Steering Committee for SOEs Renovation and Development./.
