Viet Nam and Indonesia agreed to create most favorable business and investment environments for their firms.
The agreement was reached at the Viet Nam-Indonesia Trade and Investment Forum, held by the Indonesian Embassy in coordination with the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on April 4 in Hanoi.
The two sides also agreed to bolster investment and trade relations, establish more channels for information exchanges between management agencies, promote investment and business communities of the two countries.
Mr. Dang Xuan Quang, Vice Director of the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, affirmed that Indonesia is Viet Nam’s important and reliable partner in ASEAN.
As of March, Indonesia ranked 27th out of 101 countries and territories having investment in Viet Nam, with 34 valid projects totaling US$ 285.1 million.
Viet Nam has 7 operational investment projects with total capital of US$ 106.7 million, mainly in mining, oil and gas and communications industries./.
