Of which, export was US$173 million, which was equal to that of the same period in 2012. Import turnover reachedUS$ 26 million, increased by 8.33% against previous year.
Viet Nam's key export products include footwear, aquatic products, garments, electronic accessories, and coffee.
In recent time, means of transportation and spare parts have become one of Viet Nam’s five key export products to Mexico.
Economists forecast that bilateral trade between Viet Nam and Mexico will grow fast in the coming time, especially when Mexico becomes an official member of the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP), which offers an opportunity for both countries to strengthen their economic and trade cooperation./.
