Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on August 26 welcomed Israel’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs TzipiHotovely, who is on her working visit to Viet Nam from August 23-26 to boost up the bilateral relations.

The Deputy PM asserted that Viet Nam attaches importance to the multifaceted cooperative relationship with Israel.
He also lauded the positive developments in the two nations’ relations in the recent years, especially in terms of trade, agriculture, science and technology, education and training.
He suggested the two sides accelerate delegation exchanges, strive to raise the two-way trade turnover to US$2 billion, actively negotiate and complete procedures to sign an Agreement on science and technology and the cooperative program on education and training in 2016-2018.
The Israeli Deputy Minister highly valued the status of Viet Nam in the region, asserting that Israel regards Viet Nam as a crucial partner in Asia and expects to develop the all-faceted relations with Viet Nam.
Earlier on August 25, Israeli Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Hotovely held talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vu Hong Nam.
After the talks, the two leaders inked an Agreement that allows relatives of staff of representative agencies of both Viet Nam and Israel to have income jobs in each country./.
