PM Dung made that statement at his reception for visitingIndian President Pranab Mukherjee on September 15.
He appraised the achievements in the talks held between the Indian President and State President Truong Tan Sang, hoping that the guest's visit will upgrade the two sides’ relations to a higher level.
He stated that the Vietnamese Government attached importance to the strategic partnership with India, expecting to promote the relationship more effectively for the sake of both sides.
PM Dung suggested the two nations raise the two-way turnover from US$8 billion to US$15 billion by 2020.
The Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the Indian businesses to invest in Viet Nam in fields of oil exploitation, electricity productionand the launch of direct flights to enhance cooperation in economics, trade, investment and tourism.
The PM accepted Indian PM Narendra Modi’s invitation to pay an official to India, revealing that his visit to India in October aims to discuss measures to accelerate bilateral cooperation in all areas.
The Indian President highly valued Viet Nam’s socio-economic development successes, adding that India is ready to share experience with Viet Nam in such areas as oil exploitation, electricity production, information technology, agricultural processing, pharmacy, garment and tourism.
He welcomed PM Dung’s official visit to India in October, regarding it as a freshlandmark to enhance the strategic relationship./.
