The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) of Viet Nam and the German Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs have recently signed an agreement to expand their cooperation in the future.
MOLISA’s Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hoa said the agreement covers the fields where both sides have cooperated for a long time, including vocational training and social welfare.
It is also expanded to the areas that the two sides are pleased to work together in the future, such as law-policy making and the sharing of labour market information.
According to Hoa, labour co-operation between Viet Nam and Germany is an established conventional area. After coping with an interruption, the co-operation will proceed with a new form.
He said the field is potential as many young Vietnamese labourers wish to work in Germany, noting experiences and skills they would bring home then.
State Secretary of the German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ralf Brauksiepe, said that Germany also had policies to attract Vietnamese skilled workers to work in Germany./.
