Exports to the UK reach US $1.2 billion in 2012
As of February 2012, the country gained US $353.05 million, a year-on-year increase of 24.18% thanks to exporting footwear, wood, garments, seafood, coffee, timber products to the UK.
In February alone, the total export turnover of Việt Nam to the UK surged by 112% to US $187.33 million.
Of the exports, mobile phones and components ranked first with the revenue of US $92.02 million, up 174.11% against the same period last year.
The UK is one of seven biggest importers of Việt Nam. Over the past six years, the export turnover of Việt Nam to the UK rose averagely 17% per year./.
