The batch was imported byBillyanGlobal Resources Company (in Kuala Lumpur) and Viet Nam’s HaNoiTrade Corporation (Hapro).
Director ofBillyanGlobal Resources Company William Tan said he had sampled thelycheeand found that thelycheewas very succulent and delicious, so he wants to introduce the fruit in Malaysia and believes that Malaysian consumers will like it.
BillyanGlobal Resources ordered more Vietnameselycheesfor Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas after seeing sales take off on the first day.
In the time ahead, an additional 20 containers, each weighing nearly 10 tons, will be shipped to Malaysia.
Apart from Malaysia, Vietnameselycheeshave also been present in several demanding markets such as the U.S., Australia, Japan, and Europe./.
