Deputy PM Truong Vinh Trong , Chairman of the Central Committee for AIDS, Drug Addiction and Prostitution Prevention on Monday has led a high-ranking delegation to pay a four-day visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The visit aims at consolidating the bilateral ties between Vietnam and Cambodia in the areas of HIV/AIDS and drug prevention.
Deputy PM Truong Vinh Trong and his entourage will meet Cambodian Deputy PM Ke Kim Yan, General Secretary of the National Authority for Combating Drugs (NACD) Moek Dara, and Phnom Penh Governor Kep Chuktema.
The high-ranking Vietnamese delegation plans to visit a drug rehabilitation center in Phnom Penh and some sites for the future construction of the similar centers in Cambodia.
The Vietnamese Deputy PM will also donate made-in-Vietnam batches of detoxification medicines to the host agencies.
Cambodia wants to shake hands with Vietnam in the areas of exchanging information on transnational drug trafficking, promtoing anti-drug in border areas, establishing drug rehabilitation centers, training staff on drug and HIV/AIDS prevention, said Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hoang An Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Standing Office of Drugs Control under the Ministry of Public Security. /.
