Both Viet Nam and Cambodia commit to encouraging their businesses to realize licensed projects and expand new cooperative areas, such as petroleum, mineral, energy, telecommunication, finance, and banking.

Deputy PM, FM Pham Gia Khiem and his Cambodian counterpart Hor Namhong on December 3-4 in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, co-chaired the 11th session of the Viet Nam–Cambodia Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
The two sides were unanimous in developing human resources; facilitating trade links; and raising the two-way trade turnover to over US $2 billion in 2010.
The border demarcation and landmark planting work will be completed in late 2012 as negotiated earlier, reiterated the leaders.
In addition, both sides agreed to early pen cooperative agreements on waterway transportation, mining, energy, extradition of criminals, labor and so on.
The next session will be held in Viet Nam in 2010./.
