ADB has offered Vietnam loans to upgrade and build roads

The Government chief also asked the MPI to review the ongoing projects in the provinces recently hit by tropical storms and then discuss with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) about additional funds for mitigating the outcomes.
Earlier, on October 26, Deputy Minister of Transport Ngo Duc Thinh presided over a meeting with representatives of ADB, focusing on the implementation of projects using ADB’s loans.
The meeting also proposed solutions to accelerate many key infrastructure projects, including the Ha Noi–Lang SonExpressway, the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Highway, the Noi Bai–Lao Cai Expressway and the Yen Vien–Lao Cai Rail Route.
