In Belarus, Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai and his entourage on Friday afternoon (local time) paid visits to some top local industrial establishments.

Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai visited the Minsk factory (MAZ) producing lorries, buses and mechanic products.
Recently, MAZ shaked hands with the Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM) to assemble 200 lorries in Vietnam and design other products for ASEAN markets.
Deputy PM Hai said that MAZ and VEAM could raise the output of their joint-venture to 1,000 trucks by 2010.
According to managers of MAZ, one of the company’s priorities in the future is to expand its overseas activities, especially in such markets with great agricultural potentials as Vietnam.
Accompanying Deputy PM Hai in the tour to Belarus, leaders of some ministries and agencies had meetings with representatives of Belarusian enterprises doing investment in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Nam Hai paid a visit to Belaz, one of top three world brand-names of lorry and instrumental machines. Belaz is planning to work with Vietnamese partners in founding some maintenance workshops and factories to produce spare parts.
Deputy Governor Nguyen Đong Tien of the State Bank of Vietnam met his Belarusian counterpart in order to discuss financial cooperation programs.
On the occasion, Vietnam’s Hapaco Company launched a paper making project in Belarus.
