A fair showcasing high-quality Vietnamese goods is scheduled to be held in Cambodia ’s western province of Battambang from November 25-29.
Speaking at a press conference on October 7, Huynh Tan Phong, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), said this is the second time in the year such a fair will be held in Cambodia to expand markets for Vietnamese goods.
Around 150 Vietnamese businesses are expected to showcase their products, including processed food, furniture, cosmetics, garments, plastic household utensils and agricultural materials at the fair, which is one of Ho Chi Minh City ’s large-scale trade promotion programmes.
The High-quality Vietnamese Goods Fair has for many years acted as a bridge for trade and diplomatic ties between the two neighbours as well as helping Vietnamese businesses gain access to Cambodian consumers, seek distributors and develop their business networks./.
