Building and developing Vietnamese trademarks was on the agenda of a workshop held in the central city of Da Nang on Mar. 26 by the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) in Vietnam.
The workshop is part of a project to help raise trade policy making capacity for Vietnamese business associations funded by the European Commission.
Vietnamese and foreign experts were invited to join business and participants in discussions on a strategy to build trademarks and the importance of good trademarks for Vietnamese businesses and business associations.
According to President of EuroCham in Vietnam Alain Cany, building and protecting trademarks has become a special important issue to Vietnamese businesses as many foreign products rushed into the country and Vietnam ’s products are finding the ways to European and other markets.
Also addressing the workshop, Director of EuroCham in Hanoi Matthias Duhn said that developing a unique trademark was a decisive factor for each business’s success./.
