PM Shavkat Mirziyayev made the emphasis today in his reception to the Vietnamese delegation headed by Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai.
Both the host and the guest agreed that Vietnam and Uzbekistan share many economic and cultural similarities as well as same viewpoints and interests relating to various international and bilateral issues. These are the solid background for the two countries to upgrade their multifaceted cooperation.
The leaders reached unanimity in the view that the two governments should back enterprises to seek for partners, launch more projects and contracts, and promote trade activities.
Uzbekistan pledged to support PetroVietnam’s projects on exploring and exploiting petroleum. Meanwhile, Vietnam promised to be the gateway for Uzbekistan to expand relations with Southeast Asian countries.
The same day, Deputy PM Hai visited the Uzbekistan-Vietnam Friendship Association and received leaders of Gazprom Group./.
