The Vietnam-Cambodia Trade, Services and Tourism Fair will take place in the Kohl Pitch International Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh in Cambodia from July 15-19.
The event has been jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotions Centre (ITPC) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
According to ITPC’s Director Tu Minh Thien, who is also head of the organising board, the 300-stand exhibition will showcase the economic achievements that Vietnam and HCM City in particular have made in a wide range of areas, including processed products, agricultural materials, interior decor, garments, footwear, tourism, hospitality, banking, security and insurance.
It will bring together distributors and producers from both countries, giving them the opportunity to exchange business information, he said.
A number of trade and tourism promotions, cultural exchanges and seminars will also take place within the framework of the event.
Over the past few years, bilateral trade between Vietnam and Cambodia has developed well, recording nearly 500 million USD in the first three months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 130 percent./.
