The 28th ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) and related activities will take place on July 19-23 in the tourist city of Da Lat, Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

ASEAN member countries have recently shown their great activeness and responsibility to deal with negative impacts of the global climate change, and the AMEM 2010, which is themed “Energy savings and climate change”, is part of their efforts.
Participants to these meetings include delegates from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, the US, and China.
Also on the occasion, an energy conference between Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and a dialogue between energy ministers and businesses will be organized./.
