Eurozone's economy grew by 0.3 percent in the third quarter last year compared with the previous quarter, the European Union's (EU) statistical bureau Eurostat said on Friday.
The figure was revised down from the previous 0.4 percent in the first estimate made by Eurostat.
In the third quarter of 2010, export continued to be the main driver of eurozone's economy, rising by 1.9 percent compared with the previous quarter. But household spending rose only 0.1 percent.
The EU's gross domestic product (GDP) remained unchanged from the previous estimate, up by 0.5 percent in the third quarter. Among the member states, Greece's economy contracted 1.3 percent, while Ireland's economy grew 0.5 percent.
According to Eurostat's statistics, GDP increased by 0.6 percent in the United States in the third quarter of last year and by 1.1 percent in Japan.
