Sweden is the last country in the European Union to remove Vietnam’sTra fish from its Red List, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
VASEF said the World Wild Fund (WWF) in Sweden confirmed to remove Vietnam’sTra fish from the Red List in its seafood consumption Guild Handbook.
One month after the cooperative agreement signed on December 17, 2010 between the Global WWF and VASEP, aiming to sustainably developing Vietnamese Tra fish, the fish was removed from the Red List in Norway, Switzerland, Netherland and Belgium./.
