Vietnam and Palau on March 7 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to increase bilateral cooperation on commerce and industry.

The document was signed by Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang and Palau’s visiting Minister of Public Infrastructure, Industries and Commerce Jackson Ngiraingas in Hanoi.
Earlier, the two ministers held talks on measures to promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.
Minister Ngiraingas revealed that Paula desires to coordinate with Vietnam in industries and commerce, while the Vietnamese Minister affirmed that Vietnam is eager to export rice, vegetable and other agricultural products to Palau.
Besides, the two sides should expand cooperation in aqua-products, tourism, oil and gas exploration and exploitation, Minister Hoang added.
The two ministers also agreed to encourage and support the two countries’ businesses to boost economic and trade activities and to seek investment opportunities./.
