Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai on May 4 cut the ribbon to inaugurate the representative office of Korea Eximbank in Ha Noi.
The event marked a new progress in speeding up investment and commercial ties between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), especially on ODA projects.
The representative office will assist Korean enterprises that are doing businesses in the Southeast Asian region and boost economic ties between Viet Nam and the RoK, said Chairman and President of Korea Eximbank Yong Hwan Kim.
The RoK has so far become one of the leading trade partners of Viet Nam. The Southeast Asian nation is home to over 2,000 Korean businesses, while the two-way trade volume reached US $15 billion in 2010./.
