The General Department of Tourism of the Republic of Korea (RoK) held a roadshow to promote the country’s tourism in Ho Chi Minh City on Nov. 22.
In recent time, the RoK is one of the leading partners of Vietnamese Tourism and vice versa.
Ho Chi Minh City and Busan city of the RoK have been cooperating in developing tourism. In addition to sharing experiences, the two cities send delegations to take part in each other’s cultural and tourism events.
Last year, Ho Chi Minh City received more than 350,000 holiday-makers from the RoK.
In 2011, more than 50,000 Vietnamese tourists visited the RoK from the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, up 20 percent over the figure of the entire 2010./.
