Foreign Minister Pham Bin Minh on November 15 in Bali, Indonesia attended the ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting in Bali, Indonesia to examine preparations for the upcoming 19th ASEAN Leaders’ Summit and related meetings.

The Foreign Ministers discussed on the building of the ASEAN Community in 2015 based on three pillars (the ASEAN Security Community, ASEAN Economic Community and ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community), the ASEAN community within the global community, as well as many other regional and international issues of common concern.
The FMs also talked about ways to speed up negotiations of a Southeast Asian Nuclear Weapon Free Zone (SEANWFZ) and implement the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation (TAC) in Southeast Asia.
They also touched upon issues related to the organization of the ASEAN maritime forum, maritime cooperation and implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC).
The issues of the ASEAN connectivity programme, the single ASEAN visa policy and relations between ASEAN and its dialogue partners were also put into table for discussion at the meeting./.
