Indonesia's inflation this year was forecast at 4.6 percent on a yearly basis, remaining in the range of the central bank prediction of 3.5 percent to 5.5 percent, according to senior bank official here Tuesday.
The country's inflation was well under control in September and is expected to remain low, said Perry Warjito, director for economic research and monetary policy of the central bank, quoted by Antara news agency.
Earlier, the state run Central Statistic Agency said Indonesia' s inflation in September was 0.01 percent or 4.31 percent on-year, bringing the country's inflation to 3.79 percent in the first nine months of the year.
