The economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) struggled in stagnation in 2012, said Bruno Bojic, president of Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, on Tuesday.
He made the remark during a seminar on foreign trade, saying the economy saw a mild improvement in second half of 2012 compared with the first half.
BiH export stood at 8.18 billion KM (5.5 billion U.S. dollars) while import reached 14.9 billion KM (10.1 billion dollars), down 2.92 percent and 1.24 percent respectively from the previous year, according to Bruno Bojic.
He noted the stagnation is likely to continue in the first half of 2013 and the economy faces unpredictable situation in the second half of the year as Croatia, BiH's major trade partner, is to join EU in July. /.
