Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai on August 26 received the Governor of Nara Prefecture, Shogo Arai.
The Deputy PM welcomed the working visit of theNaraPrefecture’s leaders to Viet Nam, regarding it a crucial activity to strengthen the relationship between Viet Nam and Japan and celebrate the 40thanniversary of the two countries' diplomatic ties.
He said he wants theNaraPrefecture’s officials will promote cooperation, seek investment opportunities and enhance cultural exchanges with other provinces in Viet Nam, especially with Phu Tho Province.
Mr. Shogo Arai applauded the development and traditions of Vietnamese nation and people.
He expressed his desire to step up cooperation and exchanges with Viet Nam’s localities and proposed the Vietnamese Government create favorable conditions for the two sides’ partners in further cooperation./.
