Welcoming Cambodia's Minister of Planning Chhay Than in Ha Noi, he proposed the Cambodian Government promptly address the issuing of land-use right certificates to Vietnamese firms to ease their worries and facilitate their long-term operations in the country.
He noted that the close and effective collaboration between Viet Nam's Ministry of Planning and Investment and Cambodia's Ministry of Planning had strengthened bilateral ties, especially in economy, trade, investment and tourism.
Chhay Than briefed the PM on successful talks he held with his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Quang Vinh and the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on co-operation between the two ministries for 2015.
The MoU charts a course of action to connect the two economies, as well as between the two and Laos in line with the agreement signed by the three Prime Ministers during the Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam Summit in late 2014.
Dung expressed his support for the plans and urged their speedy implementation.
He also asked the two ministries to figure out reasons behind a drop in two-way trade in 2014 and work out solutions towards realising the US$5 billion trade goal set by both nations./.
