A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Nhat on November 29 held talks with Cambodian Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport Tauch Chann Kosal to enhance cooperation in transport between the two nations.
Viet Nam’s Ministry of Transport will actively cooperate with the Cambodian partners to launch the two sides’ transport connection projects, including roads, waterway, railway, sea-routes and airlines, especially the Ho Chi Minh City-Phnom Penh Highway, said Mr.Nhat.
They also discussed the draft on the two Government’s Memorandum of Understanding on transport connection strategy.
In the future, they will apply the “one stop, one check” model at theMocBai-Bavetinternational border gates to reduce customs clearance time and facilitate goods transport and travel between the two countries./.
