China’s southern Yunnan province has opened more international land routes to Vietnam and Laos, contributing to promoting trade and expanding economic cooperation between China and ASEAN member countries.
Yunnan province now has 16 international land transportation routes, including three connecting China with Vietnam. The province recently inaugurated five more routes for passengers and cargos to Laos, bring the number of international routes linking China and Laos to 13.
Sharing borderlines with Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar, Yunnan is one of China’s nearest provinces to Southeast Asian countries.
