Receiving Mr. Gerhard Schroeder, former Chancellor of Germany this afternoon, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stressed that Việt Nam always creates favorable conditions for investors from Germany and Europe to do long-term business fruitfully.

Both the host and the guest were pleased at the vigorous development of cooperation and friendship between the two countries over the past time.
Germany is now Việt Nam’s EU trade partners. The two-way trade turnover was US $3.2 billion last year.
Mr. Gerhard Schroeder, as a senior advisor of many German and European groups, is expected to bolster investment projects in Việt Nam and cooperation in culture, education and science.
The Vietnamese Government always encourages and offers best conditions for investors from Germany and Europe to do profitable business in Việt Nam, reinterated PM Dũng.
He added that Việt Nam will closely work with Germany to successfully celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic establishment next year.
Mr. Gerhard Schroeder pledged to do his best to nurture the blooming relations between Việt Nam and Germany in particular and with Europea in general.
