PM Nguyen Tan Dung this afternoon received the Foreign Ministers of Troika-EU and Polish FM Radoslaw Sikorski who are in Hanoi to attend the 9th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (FMM 9).

PM Dung assumed that FMM 9 is one of important events in international relations and the Asia-Europe cooperation.
He asserted that, Vietnam is much interested in such issues as climate changes, sea level rising, and environmental protection and the country is willing to closely work with the international community to seek for solutions for these challenges.
Talking about cooperation between Vietnam and European countries, PM Dung emphasized that Vietnam attaches importance to and wants to deepen its cooperation with Europe. The Vietnamese Government pledges to offer favorable conditions for European investors to do fruitful business here, said the PM.
The host and the EU guests also exchanged views on measures to promote relations between Vietnam and the European Union.

Receiving Poland’s FM Radoslaw Sikorski, PM Dung reaffirmed Vietnam’s policy of enhancing the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He hailed Poland for granting Vietnam with a preferential credit loan of over US $200 million to develop shipbuilding industry. Besides, the leader suggested the two countries promote the realization of bilateral agreements and programs on economic and trade cooperation.
The Polish diplomat asked Vietnam to facilitate Polish investors’ involvement in such fields as mining, metallurgy and food processing.
