Receiving Poland’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Marek Sawicki in Ha Noion Friday, Permanent Deputy PM Nguyen Sinh Hungexpressed his strong confidence that the guest’s visit is a good chance to consolidate bilateral cooperation between Viet Namand Poland, especially in agriculture.
The host also hoped that Poland will transfer its experience of agricultural industrialization to Viet Nam after the visit.
Minister Marek Sawicki, on his part, expected to see close cooperation between Viet Namand Poland not only in shipbuilding but also in coal mining and restoring historical sites.
Mr. Marek Sawicki stated that the presence of different Polish enterprises in his entourage reflects their desire to seek for business opportunities in Viet Nam in all fields.
The two-way trade turnover between Việt Nam and Poland is estimated to surpass US $500 million this year. Viet Nam exports its garments, agro-products and food to Poland while importing from the Europe country milk powder, medicine, equipment, and steel.
The two countries are planning to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic establishment next year./.
