Mr. Roberto Colannino revealed that his group is planning to make Piaggio Vietnam a major center in Asia.
The guest, who is also President of the Italian Air Company Alitalia, stated that the airline wants to shake hands with Vietnam Airlines to open direct air routes between the two countries.
Praising investment projects of Piaggio, State President Triet stressed that Vietnam always wants foreign investors to succeed here, so as to promote Vietnam’s development.
He stated that, on the basis of their political relations, the two countries should enhance economic, trade, investment cooperation and cultural exchange.
The host leader hoped that the cooperation between Alitalia and Vietnam Airlines will open a new channel for closer bilateral ties./.
