The 16th Consultative Group Meeting, slated for early December, will place its focus on how to resume rapid and sustainable growth, maintain macro-economic stability, position the economy in the post-crisis period, and improve public administration and anti-corruption.

As part of the meeting, the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) will be held.
Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa, Country Director of the World Bank in Vietnam, stated that the meeting will be an opportunity for the Government of Vietnam and partners to talk of challenges facing Vietnam and seek for solutions.
The WB will support Vietnam to realize its development goals, Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa pledged.
At the mid-term CG Meeting 2009 in June, international donors highly spoke of the macro-economic management of the Government of Vietnam.
At the CG Meeting 2008, the total commitment made by donors reached US $5.014 billion.
