Many leading domestic corporations and over 70 Danish enterprises on Tuesday gathered at the Vietnam - Denmark Business Forum organized this morning in Hanoi on the occasion of the official visit made by the Danish royal family to Vietnam.

Speaking at the Forum, Vietnamese Permanent Deputy PM Nguyen Sinh Hung stressed that the cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark is flourishing extensively and intensively, particularly in trade, investment, and education.
Thus, the Deputy PM hoped that the two sides will deepen their bilateral ties and noted that the Government of Vietnam will offer best conditions for Danish investors’ performance in Vietnam, so as to raise the two-way trade turnover to US $1 billion in several years.

Danish Prince Henrik de Monpezat showed his admiration to socio-economic achievements and relatively high growth rate gained by Vietnam despite the global economic and financial crisis.
He stated that the Government and business circle of Denmark want to closely cooperate with such emerging economies like Vietnam.
