PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Monday in Hanoi hosted a reception to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Yu Myung–hwan, who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.

The Government chief warmly welcomed the visit that would serve to cement and deepen the friendly relations between Vietnam and RoK.
According to the host leader, over the past time, the bilateral ties have seen dramatic progress in all fields. Especially, since the establishment of the diplomatic ties in 1992, the two-way trade turnover and bilateral investment have reached to around US $10 billion and US $20 billion respectively.

The RoK is keen on boosting the relationship between the two countries, said the guest. He also added that the RoK is sparing no effort to realize the agreements signed in June 2009 during the visit of PM Nguyen Tan Dung to the Northeast Asian country.
Responding the RoK’s Minister, PM Nguyen Tan Dung underlined that Vietnam would work with Korean partners to nurture the bilateral ties towards a strategic cooperative partnership for the sake of their respective countries, regional and international peace and stability./.
