Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai made the remark today in Hochiminh City while warmly welcoming Mr. Kwak Seung-Jun, Chairman of the Presidential Council for Future and Vision of the RoK, on the sidelines of the ongoing World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia 2010,.
Vietnam pledges to shake hands with the RoK for the successful organization of the G20 Summit in Seoul later this year, said Mr. Hai.
The Deputy PM also hailed the model and operation of the Council, regarding this as a noticeable experience for Vietnam in dealing with both interministerial and interdisciplinary issues of sea level rise, climate change and energy security.
Chairman Kwak Seung-Jun took this occasion to laud Vietnam for hosting of the WEF on East Asia 2010 and expressed his desire to cement and deepen the all-around linkages between the RoK and the ASEAN, including Vietnam, a key actor./.
