Minster Phuc took the occasion to applaud the positive and active contributions of the Danish Ambassador to the development of the friendly relations and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark.
The Ambassador, said Mr. Phuc, has spared no effort to prepare for reciprocal visits of two countries’ leaders, spur economic linkages between the two business communities, and raise Denmark’s ODA provision for Vietnam.
For his part, Danish Ambassador Peter Lyholt Hansen expressed his good sentiments in the country and people of Vietnam and the impressive socio-economic changes here.
Both sides held that the economic and commercial ties between Vietnam and Denmark have seen positive advancements while acknowledging the need to raise the two-way trade turnover from US $400 million at present to US $1 billion in the coming time./.
