France's budget gap stood at 140.7 billion euros (183.24 billion U.S. dollars) at the end of November, Budget Minister Francois Baroin said Wednesday.
According to the ministry's monthly report, French revenue in November increased by 19 percent to 241.6 billion euros (314.79 billion dollars).
At the end of November, the country's spending totalled 382.7 billion euros (504.5 billion dollars) compared to 327.9 billion euros (427.24 billion dollars) last year.
However, Baroin said the government would meet the 2010 budget deficit target of 7.7 percent of gross domestic product.
France is working hard to reduce its deficit from a forecast 6 percent this year to 3 percent in 2013 by cutting public spending and tax loopholes.
