The level of annual inflation in Ukraine stood at zero in October, according to the figures released by the State Statistics Service Tuesday.
On a monthly basis, inflation decreased by 0.1 percent to stand at zero, the agency committee said in a report.
The consumer prices in the first 10 month of the year fall 0.3 percent, according to the report.
The agency attributes the figures to an increase in the cost of fuel and utilities, which was offset by a fall in food and services prices.
The government, however, remained its inflation forecast for 2012 unchanged at 7.9 percent, compared with 4.6 percent in 2011./.
