Viet Nam has concluded the bilateral negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement with the U.S. and Japan, according to the Multilateral Trade Policy Department, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT).
From July 28-31 in Hawaii, the U.S., ministers from the12 nations joining the TPP negotiations held a working session to address concerned issues.
MITMinister Vu Huy Hoang led the Vietnamese delegation to participate in the event.

After these negotiations, Viet Nam has concluded bilateral negotiations with all related nations.
Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Van Nen revealed that the Government has directed the Vietnamese negotiation delegation in efforts to askthe U.S. to recognize Viet Nam as amarket economy and reduce barriers for Vietnamese goods./.
