PM Nguyen Tan Dung today started his official visit to the Macau Special Administrative Region by a talk with Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah during which the two sides focused on measures to deepen the friendship and bilateral cooperation.
Warmly welcoming the Vietnamese PM, Mr Ho Hau Wah asserted that the leader’s visit to Macau is an important event marking a new development level of the Vietnam-Macau relationship.

Both the host and the guest confirmed their concerns about boosting the bilateral ties and agreed that the two sides should consolidate cooperation to bridge over the current economic downturn.
They pledged to enhance exchanges at all echelons and expand cooperation in all fields, especially economics, trade, investment, tourism, education, and labor.
Enterprises are encouraged to seek for investment opportunities in their respective markets, stated the leaders.
Mr. Ho reiterated that Macau is willing to link Vietnam and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The same day, PM Dung and his entourage attended the Vietnam –Macau Business Forum, where the Vietnamese PM called on the two sides’ business communities to waste no chance for further cooperation.
Before wrapping up his tour, PM Dung received leaders of some Macau’s leading groups and corporations. /.
