According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam, China and Thailand invested US$3 billion in Laos and they are the top three investors for the first half of this fiscal year.
Vietnam was the top investor as it invested US$1 billion in 32 projects and the second and third places were China and Thailand respectively.
This ministry's report also stated that domestic and foreign investors invested as much as US$3.6 billion in 116 projects in Laos during this period and US$2.8 came from foreign investors.
