Lao Development Bank (LDB) opened its new headquartre in Chanthabouly district, Vientiane Capital on 8 April.
Governor of Central Bank, Mr. Phouphet Khamphounvong, high-ranking officials from other relevant agency and customers of the bank attended the opening ceremony.
The new headquarter of the Bank began to repair last year and completed March this year with worth more than 16 billion kip.
The LDB run its business in April 2003 which was a joint venture between Lao May and Lane Xang Banks.
Last year the bank released credits loan to industry, handicraft, construction projects, agriculture and forestry and irrigation, commerce, transportation post and other service sectors.
LDB has currency more than 1,005 staff work in 18 branches nationwide, more than 35 service units, 16 currency exchange units and 16 branches overseas including, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Germany, the United States and Switzerland./.
