Deputy PM Hoang Hoang Trung today received Polish Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy Adam Seinfeld who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
Deputy PM Hai highly spoke of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Poland, particularly in education, ship-building industry, and energy.
The Vietnamese Deputy PM took note of the remarkable development of the bilateral trade and investment during the past years.
He hoped that Mr. Adam Seinfeld will continue paying his great attention to boosting the ties to a new plane, including new cooperation areas.
Mr. Adam Seinfeld expressed his impression in the positive results of the Vietnamese Government’s solutions to stimulate consumption and prevent economic downturn.
In 2008 and the first half of 2009, Poland is among few European countries to boast for positive economic growth, said the guest, considering this a good condition for the two sides to push up economic, trade and investment activities and help each other to cope with negative impacts of the global economic crisis.
Mr. Adam Seinfeld also expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government would continue creating favorable conditions for Polish investors to seek for business opportunities in mining, shipbuilding, chemistry, wood processing, and tourism.
Vietnam and Poland are working up to the 60th anniversary of diplomatic establishment next year./.
