Receiving Timor-Leste’s Minister of Tourism, Commerce and Industry Gil da Costa Alves on Tuesday afternoon, PM Nguyen Tan Dung underlined that Vietnam is willing to develop comprehensive cooperation with Timor-Leste, especially in economics, trade and investment.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung highly spoke of the outcomes of the talk between Vietnam’s Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang and Minister Gil da Costa Alves.
The Vietnamese Government chief stressed that, to make use of their respective potentials and assist each other to further develop, Vietnam is ready to shake hands with Timor-Leste in such fields as petroleum, food processing, timber industry, tourism, and human resource nurturing.
“Vietnam commits to stable and long-term provision of rice for Timor-Leste,” PM Dung said.
He hoped that Timor-Leste will become an ASEAN member soon.
