Deputy PM Pham Gia Khiem vowed to create favorable conditions for Czech businesses to spur trade and investment activities in of their advantageous areas in Vietnam.
At the invitation of the Czech Government, Deputy PM Pham Gia Khiem made an official visit to the Czech Republic on September 16-17.
While meeting with Czech leaders, Deputy PM Pham Gia Khiem expressed his delight to visit the Central European nation as the two sides are marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
The two sides took the occasions to discuss and reach common agreements on specific orientations and measures to cement and deepen all-around relations for mutual benefits, especially in such fields as economics, trade and investment.
Both sides agreed to maintain reciprocal visits at all levels andimprovethe operation of the Vietnam-Czech Inter-Governmental Committee for Economic and Trade Cooperation.
The two sides approvedother cooperation issues in financing, education and training, fighting against crimes and illegal migration.
In addition, the two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern and were unanimous in supporting each other on multilateral forums.
As the Chair of ASEAN in 2010, Vietnam is ready to play as a bridge to bring Czech closer with the block. In return, Czech commits itself to backing Vietnam to strengthen ties with the EU./.
